| We
started the jam sessions and it's fantastic ! |
After
a few friends and a couple of customers asked if
they could bring their instruments and join in for
a jam, we decided to organize jam sessions at Rick's
Café. I made a few phone calls and managed
to have a drummer and someone on the bass guitar
to provide a standard trio configuration wich would
support the possible jammers. The musicians came
and we had a lot of fun rounding up the usual standards
like the Autumn Leaves's, the All Of Me's,
the Summertime's and the expected long 12
bars blues sessions. The evening ended by a round
of champagne offered by Kathy to all the participants.
